This portal is a secure platform to collect, preserve, verify, and analyze information, evidence, testimonies, and relevant documentation regarding alleged human rights violations and abuses in Afghanistan.

Before submitting

  • Remove sensitive metadata from photos, videos, screenshots, and documents when possible.
  • Do not submit from a device, network, or location that may put you or affected people at risk.
  • If there is immediate danger, use the safest trusted emergency channel available to you.
How AWA may use submitted information

Information submitted through this portal will be reviewed and analyzed to document human rights violations, identify patterns of violation, support advocacy, reporting and accountability efforts, inform protection responses, and where applicable refer cases to national and international human rights mechanisms.

However, submission of information does not guarantee immediate intervention, or direct assistance.

Where applicable by law, individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information submitted.

Use the most accurate date you can. Format: YYYY-MM-DD, YYYY-MM, YYYY, or a month name with year (e.g. "March 2024"). Approximate dates are fine.

Provide as much detail as you safely can (province, city, district). If you can't specify, describe the general area in the incident description.
